Completed Landing gear, fabricated mounting extrusions, mounted axles, and installed landing gear on the fuselage per chapter 9. Noted on drawings and incorporated all changes in Rutan’s News Letters.

NOSE GEAR INSTALL

Built up the nose gear box and mounted nose gear assembly. Built up the standard length nose per the plans and installed the pitot tube. Purchased the NG1-L nose strut and installed all attachments including the nose wheel. I original installed the Brock nose gear lift system with the manual crank. However, I recently changed and installed the Wright Nose Gear System. This was a very easy change over and well worth the cost of the system. With the O-320 engine, I needed the weight in the nose anyway.
