After reading a few articles and visiting with Longez operators I decided to go with toe brakes and not the cable driven ones in the plans.

I used the Matco brake cylinder M4A. The clevis end of the Matco brake cylinder fits into a 5/8 X .049 tube. A slot in the tube allows a bolt installation that keeps the clevis aligned and allows it to slide. The amount of sliding is what is allowed to apply rudder without applying brakes. The forked end on the other end of the .049 tube is part number 05-01120 and attaches to the rudder pedal.
